Asked to create a solution to a small guest bathroom for designer Laura Larkin, I developed a a double leafing process with heavy burnishing and much reverse glass texturing. This allowed the reflective quality of èglomisè cabinet doors to give a lovely lightness to a small space without ‘revealing’ too much.

Hand cut and beveled glass by Eric Hansen offered a perfect glass ‘canvas’ for this little vanity. Creating a reverse glass texture backed by silver leaf, heavily burnished, textured again and re leafed with second layer of silver created the perfect ‘obscured’ reflection.
