My sconces are created utilizing an art form called Eglomise (reverse glass gilding and painting developed by designer Glomy in the eighteenth century)

This process allows me to create an enhanced reflective glow as with a mirror, and also illuminating the handpainted embedded images inlayed. Working with a mixture of silver leaf, gold leaf and moon gold, the goal is to create interesting combinations.

All my glass is hand cut and hand beveled. I incorporate ‘jewellery’ into the mix with hand cut glass and crystals, giving an animated quality.

Each design can be customized to fit individual spaces as needed.
